Celebration ceremony for the 3111th anniversary of Bigan's birth

On May 8, 2019, the 3111th anniversary of Bigan’s birth, a grand commemorative celebration was held in Weihui, Xinxiang.

More than 80 Lin clan groups and more than 10,000 people from all walks of life from the United States, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shandong, Shanxi, Sichuan and other regions attended the ceremony.

Li Ruixia, deputy mayor of Xinxiang Municipal Government, and leaders of the four major teams including Liang Changyun, Fan Shifu, Wang Shengqun, and Tian Zhen of Weihui City, as well as experts and scholars on surnames and folk culture, descendants of Bigan at home and abroad, and representatives of well-known overseas Chinese leaders, nearly 10,000 people gathered together to witness this grand celebration.
