Consul Zhao Xinxing and Basang Tsering of the Chinese Consulate and nearly a thousand Lin Clan members attended the event.

Lin Cifei, chairman of the Lin Clan Association, said that the gathering of Lin clan members not only celebrated the sixth anniversary of the establishment of the American Lin Clan Association and the inauguration ceremony of the fourth new staff, but was also a continuation of the series of activities commemorating the 3115th anniversary of Bigan’s birth. The Lin clan members shared the spiritual power of their ancestor and participated in the major events of the Lin family, which was of extraordinary significance and far-reaching impact.

Lin Cifei said, "Since its establishment, the Lin Clan Association of America has been serving compatriots in the United States. It has donated money to young Chinese people from Fujian fighting cancer. In April this year, members organized a trip back to China to trace their roots, interact, communicate and learn with clan associations across the country, and feel that the Lin clan in the world is one family."

Chairman Lin Baoming said that the Lin Clan Association and the Bigan Gong Memorial Activities have played an extremely important role in studying and inheriting the Lin Clan's cultural origins, understanding the clan's history, promoting the national spirit, and enhancing the cohesion of the Lin Clan. The Federation will continue to seek benefits for the Lin Clan in the future.
